deadlines

At this time we are on schedule, we plan to present our proposal soon and are currently working on it.

People Who Accomplished

Brandon January: He has been one of our main researchers. He has spent the majority of his time searching for parts on transmissions and suspension. He has been brainstorming about what we could do with the car and how to do it.

Shane Milligan: He has been the main parts person for our group; along with the rest of the group, he has been brainstorming and researching for parts. He stands out in that he has the parts for the vehicle, and has more experience in building r/c cars. He knows exactly what brands and parts we need and has been very helpful.

George Collins: He has been the main technical guy. He put together the google website and this very blog. Along with those two things, he also set up the layout for the google site, and did much research on what parts to use. He brainstormed along with the rest of the group.

Thanks to our groups supreme ability to work together, we were able to have a productive week.

Accomplishments

This week we began our assaignment. We contemplated whether to further our design or start over. We have decided to start over but use some parts a team member has from an electic TRAXXAS r/c car. We have been researching on what other parts to buy, and at this time we are looking at buying a new gearbox. This week we have decided upon our project, and started research.

Our Project

We have decided to build some type of offroad vehihicle; We believe that a mini sized vehicle could either be used to sneak into army bases, or could be a model for a larger vehicle that could be used either with the army or for entertainment. We need to have our offroad vehicle be four wheel drive, and have an abundant amount of suspension flex.
